As Liberty Communications marks its 12th anniversary, the celebration takes on a meaningful direction: creating opportunities for the next generation.
Through the Youth Development Program, Build Your Voice. Create Your Future., Liberty Communications collaborated with SMKN 51 Jakarta to inspire and equip final-year students with perspectives that can help them build confidence, develop their potential, and prepare for the world of work.
Held on September 10, 2026, the program brought together approximately 250 students from various vocational programs at SMKN 51 Jakarta.
From 12 Years of Experience to the Next Generation
For Liberty Communications, an anniversary is a moment to reflect on the journey so far, while looking ahead at what can be created next.
For 12 years, Liberty Communications has worked across communication, creativity, branding, digital, public relations, and events, helping brands connect with their audiences and communicate with purpose.
This year, that experience was brought into a different space: the classroom.
The Build Your Voice. Create Your Future. program reflects Liberty Communications’ commitment to sharing its knowledge, experience, and industry perspective with young people who are preparing to take their next step.

Building Confidence Before Building a Career
The transition from school to the professional world can be an important turning point for young people.
Beyond technical skills, students need confidence, communication skills, adaptability, responsibility, and the courage to express their ideas.
These values became the foundation of the program.
Through inspirational sessions and conversations, students were encouraged to think about who they are, what they can contribute, and how they can begin preparing for the future from where they are today.
The program featured Gabriel Prince, Inspirational Speaker and Founder of Prince Spread The Love, and Fanni Lumintang, Founder of Future Life Academy, who shared their perspectives and experiences with the students.
Finding Your Voice in a Digital World
With social media becoming an important part of how young people communicate, create, and build their presence, the ability to use digital platforms responsibly has become increasingly relevant.
The students were encouraged to see their digital presence as an opportunity to learn, showcase their skills, build connections, and create positive impact.
For vocational students, the skills they develop at school can become valuable foundations for their future careers, whether in creative industries, business, communication, technology, or other professional fields.
The message was simple: build the skills, build the confidence, and be ready when opportunities come.
Connecting Education with Industry
One of the significant moments of the program was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Liberty Communications and SMKN 51 Jakarta.
The collaboration creates opportunities for students to gain exposure to the professional environment through internship or work-based learning opportunities, as well as potential recruitment opportunities based on qualifications and business needs.
The partnership also opens possibilities for continued collaboration between the school and industry, allowing students to gain a closer understanding of how the skills they learn in school can be applied in the professional world.
For Liberty Communications, this collaboration represents an opportunity to create a stronger connection between education, industry, and future talent.
Turning Support into Opportunity
As part of the program, Liberty Communications also provided School Development Support to SMKN 51 Jakarta to support the development of students, particularly in creative entrepreneurship.
The program also included education support for selected students, providing additional encouragement for them to continue developing their potential and pursuing their aspirations.
These contributions are intended to support an environment where students can continue learning, creating, and gaining practical experience.
Passing the Torch Forward
Another meaningful moment of the celebration was the presentation of the Liberty Torch Award to SMKN 51 Jakarta.
The torch represents the continuation of knowledge, opportunity, values, and hope from one generation to the next.
It reflects the spirit behind the program: creating an impact today while opening the way for the next generation to carry that impact forward.

As Indonesia moves toward Generasi Indonesia Emas 2045, preparing young people with relevant skills, confidence, character, and an understanding of the professional world becomes increasingly important.
